I've noticed that posting recipes on your blog is a popular trend these days. I LOVE food and cooking, so I'd like to get in on the action! This is not a recipe so much as a how-to. Say you are invited to a soiree and asked to bring a nibbly, or you are having a party and would like to serve something a little more elegant than the usual chips and dip. All you need are some nice crackers (I like to use Raincoast Crisps, but they are made in Vancouver, BC, so they may only be available in Canada), some soft cheese like Brie or goats cheese (I like peppered goats cheese) and a bunch of purple grapes. Arrange them on a nice plate, and your good to go!It goes well with dry martinis of a nice fruity red. For more on wine selection, check out the Budget Wino blog.
Here's one I did for my good friend Deb's birthday party.
Well, I'll never be a food photographer; I missed part of the plate. But you get the idea!
