I'm a special guest author!

I have been asked to be a guest author on another blog! It totally happened by accident. Typepad offers a list of 10 recently updated blogs on their homepage (I also have a link to it), and if I see a name that looks interesting, I will click on it and have a look. I have to say, there are some awesomely creative people out there blogging ~ I am always impressed! So a couple of days ago, there was a blog called "Kim and her friends explain it all..." I thought "Great!", because frankly, I'm a little confused, so I clicked on that one. Well, it turned out that Kim and her friends are what I would call right wing conservatives, and Christian to boot (not that there's anything wrong with that, to quote Jerry Seinfeld). The post I saw was a list of the problems that "liberals" have caused. Well, needless to say, I took exception to a few of those items, and had to open my big yapper and argue. Of course, some of the people who commented on my comments were pretty vitriolic, but Kim herself was very gracious and answered my comment with some well-thought out arguments for her positions. To which I had to reply with my own arguements. Next thing I knew, she had invited me to be a guest author on her blog, because, as she said:

    "You can provide a valuable counterpoint to a lot of things that get regularly said around here. If           our beliefs are never challenged, we never have an opportunity to defend them."

So, she wants me to be the Devil's advocate and get the comments rolling, but thats ok. It will give me an opportunity to rant about some subjects that really get me going, like wanting to prohibit gay marriage, and trying to make abortion illegal. It should be very interesting!

wake up. whats that noise, whats that noise, is it the cat, it is, its the cat- shes trying to get a drink of water, must stop her from drinking the water. get up, run towards cat. oops, its her. I call her *she-who-thinks-she-must-be-obeyed* ~ *she* for short. *she* a funny two leg that lives in my cave and acts like alpha female just because two of the puppies around here are hers. *she* does not like it when i dont let the cat drink. pretend i was going to lie down by the door so *she* doesnt yell at me like she always does. later, wander back to cave under place where *she* spends hours doing something with her fingers on a flat thingy with buttons and staring at a funny window that glows. fall asleep.

wake up. stretch. hungry. not time for food, *she* already fed me this morning, so *she* wont feed me again until tonight. mean *she*. hm, hungry. i know, kitchen floor. check kitchen floor for dropped food that lazy *she* never sweeps up. if no food, lick sticky spots on kitchen floor. except *she* not like it when I lick kitchen floor. *she* yell. act casual, dont make eye contact with *she*, maybe *she* not notice me. oops, *she* noticed. *she* yelling. i hate it when *she* yell. slink back to cave. fall asleep.

wake up. have to pee. must pee. go sit by door. hope lazy *she* notice. maybe her mate will notice, that would be better, he not so lazy about taking me downstairs to pee. here *she* comes, shes actually going to take me downstairs and let me out to pee. must remember not to push past her on stairs, or she yell again.

outside. ah, favorite pee spot right by front door. *she* doesn't like it when I pee here, but I notice *she* not put funny leather things on feet, only have cloth things that i sometimes like to eat on feet, so she not able to come out on wet grass and get me. ah, peeing. oh, *she* yelling. what? killing rose bush? don't pee on my rose bush? what that mean? oh well, done peeing now. slink by *she* and not make eye contact, *she* will give me nasty look.

back upstairs to cave. fall asleep. wake up. *she* calling me. oh, *she* in kitchen place with funny metal flat sharp stick in hand ~ *she* must have dropped food on floor and wants me to clean up. run before cat gets there. oh. yucky fungus mushroom thingy. i HATE yucky fungus thing. why *she* always call me when she drop yucky mushroom thingy? *she* should know by now i dont like them. *she* just doesnt appreciate me.

well, not time for food and no one seems to be taking me for walk, so might as well go back to cave and sleep.
